Case History

Potluri Priyanka was born and brought up in a Tribal community. She has both parents and two sister.

Her parents belong to the Yanadhi tribe who eat rats and catch snakes and other poisonous animals. Her parents work in the fields and woods to catch snakes and poisonous animals in order to make a living.

They live in thatched hogons and mud houses, below the poverty line. It is hard for them to get a decent meal each day. This ancient tribe is slowly losing population because of poverty, disease and heathen practices. They live a simple life.

She is studying 3rd class she need sponsorship for her studies in the school. Her parents attend the local church.
