Dear Show God's Love Sponsor: NOTE: We apologize if you receive this notice more than once, we are sending to all of our project email lists and some of you are subscribed on more than one. Sorry! India TripWe are happy to report that we had a very successful mission trip to India. A group of 6 volunteers traveled from 20-Jan to 30-Jan to both of our projects in India, the Jangum Gudem project and the Ashirvad Home for Orphans. We had many opportunities to Show God's Love to the Indian children and their families... it was a blessed time!We have assembled a short music video which captures the trip! Please watch the 5 minute video available on the front page of our site. We are in the process of updating our site with new photos so please check back often. We also were able to take new photos of about 2/3 of the sponsored kids at Jangum Gudem, and we will be updating the site in the next week or so... so if you are a sponsor of one of those children, log into "My Account" to see the updates! Also, please check the Ashirvad and Jangum Gudem project areas for new updates, photos and information. We have children available for sponsorship at both projects. Mattress & Pillow Special ProjectWe have a special project going now, that is to replace 60 filthy, worn out mattresses and pillows at the Ashirvad orphanage. The children are living in a 50% complete building, as the lease on the old building ran out and they were forced to move before the new building was complete. The children sit on concrete floors in an open-air (no walls) building all day for school, have no showers or toilet facilities, and at night sleep on filthy and worn out mattresses. Some of the children do not have mattresses, but sleep on a blanket on top of plywood which is on their bed frame.The cost to replace each mattress and pillow is only $10 US for each child. We are trying to raise the money quickly to bless these children with a clean, comfortable night's sleep. We ask that you please consider donating to this cause... so little can make such a difference to a needy child. Remember that Show God's Love only has a small number of sponsorships here, but there are 60 children in need, so we are not able to fund this with normal sponsorship monies. All money collected will be transferred directly to this cause with no administrative overhead (PayPal takes a small percentage of the donation). Thank you for your consideration!
